When did you start in the industry you are working in and why did you choose this work field?
I started working in Marine Construction industry in 2008 with my first abroad job. After being graduated as a civil engineer I decided to combine my studies with water and sea as water is a passion for me. Therefore, right after bachelor degree I started a master degree on hydraulics and completed it.
What is your current role and on which role did you start?
Currently, I am working as a soil improvement project coordinator at an offshore airport construction where I started working 9 months ago in the same position.
When did you get in touch with iPS Select?
The first time I got in touch with iPS was almost 2 years ago for another position and company in another country. For my current role, we discussed a bit later, and took some time to be deployed due to Covid conditions at the project.
Can you tell us more about what kind of jobs/projects you were involved in via iPS Select?
The first time I got in touch with iPS was almost 2 years ago for another position and company in another country. This is the first time I am working with iPS and it feels good.
If you should explain the contact you have with iPS, how would you describe it?
Whenever I try to reach iPS for assistance, I get feedback straight away which makes my life easier while I am working.
What do you find the most inspiring aspect of your work/job?
The first inspiring aspect of my job is of course that I am working over the sea. Moreover, I meet with different cultures whenever I start a new role and lastly I spend more time with my family thanks to marine industry shift schedules.
